Not everyone is up to date with the requirements of what you need to have displayed when making candles, melts etc and for people new to the industry it can be so daunting when they have just started to finish their testing and realise they have an amazing product. Yesterday we gave some ideas of mixing scents to get your own unique scent for your brand, well today we can pass onto you someone that can help you with all the compliant issues, here we introduce a lady called Sarah Gladden, her information is below and she is there to help;
As some of you probably know, I have been thinking about setting up a CLP service for candle makers. I am getting closer to making this a reality, but before I take the final plunge, I'd be interested to know if anyone would be interested in this service. You don't have to comment below, but can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd be interested to know how many labels you would be interested in. Would you be prepared to pay for an express service, if it was offered? And would anyone find a review service of any benefit (i.e. for a small fee I would look at say 5 labels and the corresponding SDS, to check they are accurate and comply with the regulations? (This service would not include producing the correct CLP, but the cost of providing that device would be reduced accordingly). It goes without saying, all correspondence will be kept confidential and you will not be signing up to anything.
